Blessed Easter to all of you!
On Easter Sunday, Christians around the world celebrate the resurrection of the Lord, Jesus Christ. According to Scripture, Jesus came back to life, three days after his death on the cross. As part of the Easter season, the death of Jesus Christ by crucifixion, is commemorated on Good Friday, always the Friday just before Easter. Through his death, burial and resurrection, Jesus paid the penalty for sin, thus purchasing for all who believe in him, eternal life in Christ Jesus. That are good news, aren’t they?
Happy Easter !

Invite children to read and clap the words and sort them in the correct mat. How many syllables has your name got? Ok! use the blank cards to personalize the game to meet your needs.
This is how I assemble the game. I cut a piece of cardboard and fold it 5 times. I paste the mats and pockets inside the game.
Why not a delicious chocolate treat for those syllable sorting champions?
Like the game? there are two collections of games availables in the site

English builders collection

This is a free file folder game for you. You will find two mats, one for short vowels and one for long vowels and some cards. Invite children to sort the cards in the correct mat. Ask questions such as “ what’s this?” for example, “stars”. Exagerate the sounds while repeating “stars”. Let them think if it has a short or long sound. Then invite children to sort the cards in the correct mat. You can use the worksheets for individual work.
As in all my games, you will find blank cards for you to personalize the game. You can cut out pictures from magazines or write the words you are working with your children.
Enjoy this game!
